MARC S. LEBLANC

Marc S. LeBlanc - Foiled AgainMarc S. LeBlanc is a master stylist with 26 years of experience. He received training in Boston, New York, Montreal, Toronto and Halifax as well as in Moncton. Although Marc has been offered opportunities to open prestigious salons in the United States, he chose to remain in the Moncton area during his career.

Marc is past owner of Jon Raymond Salon in Highfield Square from 1984 – 1993. He was an educator and platform artist for Sorbie International and continues to keep his own skills fresh and updated with various color and cutting classes on a regular basis.

Always a very successful entrepreneur, Marc has dedicated his time and experience to various events and fundraising groups throughout his career. He is a three-time Moncton designer award winner and from 1986 – 1996 Marc was a judge for the Master Judge Program of the Canadian Hair Art and Science. He was the official hairstylist for the Miss Moncton Pageant and since 1998; Marc has been the official hairstylist for the Hillsborough Fashions Gala to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer locally in Moncton. His work also appeared in numerous bridal commercials on tv and on music videos.

Marc’s individual style and experience make his clients feel relaxed and at-ease feeling and looking their best after every visit.

Amy Morrissey

Amy Morrissey - Foiled AgainAmy Morrissey is a certified Aesthetician with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick. Amy took her course in the fall of 2003 at the Jon Raymond Institute in Moncton, NB. Thereafter she started her career at the Jon Raymond salon at the Champlain Mall in Dieppe, NB. In 2005 Amy worked as the Nail Technician at the Jon Raymond Repechage Spa before joining the staff at the Foiled Again salon in the fall providing basic Aesthetic treatments, (manicures, pedicures, waxing…) also specializing in makeup applications and Brisa artificial gel nails. Amy has always loved working in the beauty industry, learning new things everyday. She has and outgoing personality, creative and takes pride in providing her clients with the best service possible.

Drew

Drew - Foiled AgainCalling Moncton home since 1998, Drew has been a stylist with a thirst for knowledge and a passion for his craft. A master stylist and colourist, Drew believes the beauty industry is an extension of the medical industry because “looking good is truly feeling good.”

Educated at Chez Bernard Beauty Academy in Moncton along with subsequent advanced colouring and haircutting courses though Goldwell, Redken and Piidea , Drew firmly believes knowledge is power. He is currently waiting to attend the Colour Master’s Seminar through Kao Profession Salon Services.

An official hairstylist with the Hillsborough Fashions Breast Cancer Gala since 2002 , contributor to local charity fundraisers and pageants since 1998 , Drew firmly believes you have to give back what you take from the community that supports.

Drew welcomes clients from the past and present and is excited to work with new clients looking to bring their hair to it’s full potential.

Kim Achen

Kim Achen - Foiled AgainKim Achen is a Certified Reflexologist, Registered Massage Therapist and Reiki Master. Kim started out training to become a wholitic therapist which classes included herbal remedies, nutrition and reflexology. In September 2001, after completing the reflexology module, Kim started her own business as a certified Reflexologist in St. Albert, AB.

Over the next few years, Kim continued her training to include advanced Reflexology Techniques and European Reflexology Techniques through the Universal College of Reflexology and took part in many events including the 1st Annual Edmonton Health and Wellness Show. She facilitated the AGM of the Alberta Dance Educators Association and that of the Association of Alberta Dental Hygienists.

In January 2004, Kim decided to return to school full time to train to be a Registered Massage Therapist at the Edmonton College of Swedish Relaxation Massage. After successfully completing the advanced lessons in June 2004, Kim moved to Dieppe, NB. Shortly thereafter, she started working at Foiled Again in December 2004, expanding their services to include Reiki and Reflexology.

Melanie Roop

Melanie Roop - Foiled AgainDespite being a dean's list student, Melanie left university to pursue the study of Massage Therapy. She was interested in a career that allows her to work with people and to help them improve their overall health and well being.

In June 2005, Melanie graduated from a 2500 hour massage therapy program from Kine Concept Institute in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Melanie also has her first aid certificate from St. John's Ambulance. She is registered to perform massage therapy in the province of New Brunswick with the New Brunswick Massage Therapy Association.

She is trained in Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy , myofascial release and orthopedic assessment. In most of her therapy treatments, Melanie uses trigger point therapy. Trigger point therapy “applies concentrated finger pressure to "trigger points" (painful irritated areas in muscles) to break cycles of spasm and pain.”(CMTA) It is an effective treatment to relax tense painful muscles. Robert Langis

Robert Langis - Foiled AgainRobert Langis graduated from massage therapy school after a three-year program in March of 2001. From there Robert headed up a small company named Masso-Tech Inc. This company gained great ground in Moncton and the province of New Brunswick, with large Corporate Chair Massage contracts throughout all major golf courses also with some major call centers in N.B. like
Air Canada, Fairmont Hotels, and Rogers. Robert then decided to venture into different grounds and along with two partners (Drew Vienneau, Marc LeBlanc) started another small business named Foiled Again Hair design and Massage Studio. Robert has also been very involved in community events ever since he studied a new technique called Active Release Techniques, this is a soft tissue management system that has been a key to Robert’s success with a 90% success rate in dealing with soft tissue problems. Robert has also brought his education to great use in volunteering as the trainer for the Moncton Mets senior baseball league. Robert also currently holds the title as Area Representative for southeastern New Brunswick for the New Brunswick Masso Therapy Association.
