Magnetic Hill Zoo Moncton: Open all year round

With a diverse range of animals, special events and educational programs, Moncton's zoo is a wonderful visit for everyone.

Allow at least 90 minutes to go through the zoo and a more leisurely visit would be 3-4 hours. Magnetic Hill Zoo is designed in such a way that it is possible to enjoy part of it during one visit and then come back to do another section at another time if you wish.

A member of the Canadian Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Magnetic Hill Zoo takes care of more than 400 animals, including over 100 indigenous and exotic species. Birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, and fish find a comfortable and safe home in the 40-acre park.

The zoo is planned and operated with the utmost concern to the well-being of the the animals and public safety. The staff are committed to safeguarding animal species and raising public awareness of endangered species.  Magnetic Hill Zoo follows national protection movements closely and participate in diverse repopulation programs for endangered animal species.

Spring: Mon - Fri: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sat/Sun:  9 a.m.  - 7 p.m.
Fall: Mon - Fri: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sat/Sun:  9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

$8.50 - Youths (12 - 17) and Seniors (60+)
$7.25 - Children (4 - 11)
FREE  - Toddlers (under 3)
$30.00 Family of Four (2 adults + 2 children) addl. children $6.50   

Summer -June 19 to September 6 inclusive

HOURS: Every day: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Bears: 11:30 a.m.
Primates: 12:30 p.m.
Lions: 1:30 p.m.
Zoo Chef: 2:30 p.m.
Otters: 3:30 p.m.

Magnetic Hill Zoo Educational Programs & Summer Camps

Zoo Children's camps and group tours are available at the Education Centre.  Children's camp programs runs throughout the summer in addition to dates for other school holidays.
